Some people want to go back to paper ballots that are counted by hand. I don't think the American voter can wait a week or more to find out election results. Our attention span is not that great.
Agreed. And in the county I mentioned, the box full of ballots disappeared one time (several years before I moved there) on Election Day. They found it floating in the lake. If people are determined to cheat they will find a way. We just have to minimize it.
